The KEYS Program allows for parents who will be out of town to contact the police department to let them know they will be away and teens will be home alone. A key can be left with a trusted neighbor or relative and if the police believe an underage drinking party is taking place they can retrieve the key to enter the premises. This protects the parents as a homeowner so they cannot be charged with hosting an underage drinking party but also give youth a reason to tell their friends they can not have anyone over. This program is free and encouraged for the safety of all involved. More information can be found in the Parents section of our website, by contacting our office or contacting the Raymond Police Department at (603) 895-4747.
