Virtual Video Project

Who, and What, Makes Us Strong?

The Raymond Coalition For Youth invites youth, young adults and families to create a short video highlighting the people and things that help us most when we need it most.

Who is your person?

Who or what helps you get through tough times?

Who or what gives you strength?

All videos will become the property of RCFY and will be shared on RCFY Social Media pages to:

Inspire others, give our community hope and maybe even provide a much-needed smile or giggle.

We want you to have FUN with it!

Video Content Ideas: We want to highlight the people, places, and things that make a difference in the lives of our children and young adults. These people are not fictional superheroes, they are moms, dads, aunts, neighbors, grandfathers. These places are not expensive amusement parks but are free state parks, trails or fishing ponds or lakes that bring us peace.

Requirements:

  1. Videos should be from 30 seconds up to 1 minute in length.

  2. Hold the phone horizontally while recording.

  3. Videos must feature or be created by youth or young adults up to the age of 25.

  4. Content must be family-friendly, positive, creative, emotional (fun, happy, caring, kind).

  5. Videos are due each Wednesday in April if you want to participate and 3 winners will be chosen each Thursday: April 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd.  Each entry is eligible to win each week. The Grand Prize video, which receives the most likes/comments/shares, will be announced on April 30th and receive an additional $50 gift card.

  6. Please submit finished videos to Christine Bostaph at cbostaph@rcfy.org.  By submitting your video you understand that the video will become the property of RCFY and agree to our media waiver. Please complete our online entry form and media waiver. We require your name, address, email, and phone so we can contact our winners each week to arrange for the delivery of gift certificates.
