Mission Statement
Raymond Coalition for Youth empowers the community to promote positive youth development and strengthen community assets by coordinating services and opportunities through prevention initiatives, including suicide, alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.STRATEGIES:
- Provide support and services for healthy family development
- Broaden community outreach participation and facilitate communication interaction with other organizations
- Promote community/school integration. Develop attractive/interactive after school programming
- Promote positive media and recognition / short term successes
- Develop a Raymond Community Center (involve school board, churches, & other community organizations)
- Open up/create community service opportunities for Raymond youth and community
- Address and educate community on areas of concern
- Develop backing and support to sustain RCFY
- Increase numbers and breath of youth involvement in RCFY
