Volunteering is truly an everyone thing!
As the Raymond Coalition for Youth has grown, so has the need for volunteers. There are many opportunities for you to support the healthy development and positive choices for our youth while helping us build a stronger community. We have committees for program development, outreach - getting the good word out to the community, and of course fund raising committee efforts are ongoing.
Recruitment for volunteers is on-going. The Raymond Coalition for Youth invites you to join us in our effort to provide positive choices for our youth, along with supporting their parents and guardians by providing programs that enhance their ability to nurture and encourage our youth for a positive future. For more information about volunteering call our Executive Director Celeste Clark @ 603-895-4735 x125 or download our Volunteer Checklist and send it in.
What type of volunteer are you?
There are many ways to support and make a difference. The following are ways you can be involved: Become an Event Volunteer, Function Volunteer or General Volunteer.
Event Volunteer
Volunteers that are able to commit the time and energy needed to be a part of an event committee and help plan and execute an event. This would potentially involve attending and participating in planning meetings, set-up of event, attending event, and breakdown of event. Example - Family Fun Night.
Event Volunteer Opportunities
Function Volunteer
Volunteers who have blocks of time available and can commit to handling a specific function on an ongoing basis. Example - A volunteer that can sit on a program committee such as the Outreach committee and can dedicate time each month to meet, develop and execute ideas developed to promote Raymond Coalition for Youth.
Function Volunteer Opportunities
General Volunteer
Volunteers who want to be involved but may only have pockets of time available to do so. Often the Coalition has needs that can be done independently that would support a function, event or support the efforts of the Executive Director or Board. Example - Volunteers may make signs, pickup supplies, chaperone, or help out at an event for a block of time or do something specific for the Executive Director or a Board member.
